My company needs to ship a computer via air cargo to New Zealand from South America. Based on the limited amount of information we have available, we wanted to inquire if there are any companies who do this. The computer is a mainframe so it is quite large. It has already been uninstalled from our facility and is currently being readied for shipment. However, before we proceed too far along with crating it up, are there any special requirements we should be aware as we package the computer? We do anticipate the long journey it must make to get to New Zealand, so we want to be certain it will arrive safely and undamaged. There are also 3 smaller crates that include the hardware that is necessary to connect the computer to its new home. Also, when you email me please include some information about the approximate cost. Will the line of travel be something more direct, or will the computer have to be directed through a more mainstream hub such as in Mexico or the United States.
